The production of wet-laid wood pulp composite spunlace fabric primarily involves the combination of the wet-laid process and carding to form a web. In the wet-laid process, wood pulp fibers are dispersed to create pulp, shaped by an inclined wire paper machine to produce a wet paper sheet. The carding process includes using a carding machine to create a polyester or viscose fiber web. Subsequently, the wet paper sheet is combined with the carded fiber web through hydroentanglement to produce wet-laid wood pulp composite spunlace fabric. In contrast, our company's conventional wood pulp composite spunlace fabric is made by purchasing ready-made wood pulp paper from paper mills and combining it with a polyester or viscose fiber web through hydroentanglement.

From a process perspective, wet-laid wood pulp composite fabric only requires a single drying step, whereas conventional wood pulp composite spunlace fabric involves a drying process during the conversion of wood pulp fibers into wood pulp paper, followed by another drying step during the combination with the fiber web. Overall, the latter consumes more energy and has higher costs.

In terms of performance, wet-laid wood pulp composite spunlace fabric tends to have a higher linting degree and is typically used in kitchen cleaning cloths and low-demand wiping areas.
